November

Sunday 3rd November 201908:00Holy Communion (BCP)
A traditional said service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer.
10:00All-Age Family Worship (incl. Baptism)
Each month on the first Sunday our main 10am Service is an informal mix of hymns/songs, prayers, a bible passage and sermon deliberately catering for families and the presence of children. This is the ideal service to come along to if you are unfamiliar with church and want to get to know who we are and what we do at Holy Trinity, especially if you are bringing young children. You will be made very welcome. (NB: This service does not include Communion). Sometimes this service will include the baptism / christening of those who are being welcomed into the Church Family. The 10am service is usually followed by an opportunity to get to know people better over a cup of tea / coffee / squash (and a biscuit or even cake) in the Church Rooms next to the Church.
16:00Memorial Service (Commemoration of the Departed)
Here at Holy Trinity Church we like to remember in prayer all those who have died in the previous few years, together with their families and friends. To this end we hold a Memorial Service on the Sunday nearest to All Souls Day (which is celebrated on 2nd November). This year our Memorial Service takes place on Sunday 3rd November at 4.00 pm. You are warmly invited to join us at this service when we will remember especially all those whose funerals have taken place during the past twelve months, and other loved ones who have died in preceding years. It would be a great help to us in planning this service if you would kindly inform us whether you will be attending and the name(s) of the person(s) whom you wish to be remembered at the service. I look forward to seeing you on the 3rd November. Yours in Christ’s service, Roger Bristow. Vicar, Holy Trinity Church. email: vicar@htc-bc.org.uk
