Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the Church

As the spread of the coronavirus continues people are naturally anxious about the risk in mixing with others who may possibly pass on the infection.  As a Church we take these concerns very seriously and, following the decision by the Government to restrict all public activity for a time, ALL CHURCHES in the Church of England are closed until further notice.

Holy Trinity Church is, however, still here and still very much concerned with the welfare of all whether members or not.  If you are concerned for yourself or for someone else and would find it helpful to speak to someone for support, prayer or spirtual guidance please do get in touch either by email to vicar@htc-bc.org.uk or phone 020 8462 1280.

Although we are unable to open the Church building, or to gather together for worship, we are still finding ways to meet and to share in worship 'virtually' via Zoom and through our Facebook page and YouTube channel.  If you would like to know more about this please do get in touch.

The Church of England has a section on its website which gives information and advice relevant to Church life.  This is regularly updated and can be found here:  https://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-churches.
